I am in my 50's and that is how it was for me, too. I am slowly getting treatments for my scars after all these years. There is so much more on the market now, have you gone to more than one dermatologist? I'd get a 2nd opinion at a young Dr. who is up on the newest stuff. I'd take your pain away if I could.
