There are natural remedies for menopause, hot flashes…you can go to a natural foods/health foods store & ask there. But although dizziness is a side effect of menopause its probably not as bad as you seem to indicate. It sounds as though your mom may have Meniere's disease (vertigo) which has to do with vestibular inner ear trouble. My mom has it & it makes her very sick when the attack comes on. I'd suggest your mom go to her doctor & get checked out. She can always tell her doctor that she'd prefer not to go on HRT & ask for other suggestions if that's what they come up with. If the doctor won't listen to her, then I'd say its time to find a new doctor.
