Proactiv Solution.

My acne

Growing up, I had acne in adolescence. You know, these children get their shots of pre-teens, but mine were never really serious. That is until later in the life of my twenty years. Then the face late in starting a very bad way. I had pimples on the forehead and chin, and I also had very severe cystic acne on my cheeks. I do not work in current). I tried to make them explode. After all else failed and I was feeling increasingly depressed and unattractive, I was picked up by the appeal of these ads Proactiv. So I decided to try Proactiv solution. I ordered my kit for $ 60 or less, and took a couple of days. I read the documentation and started the night regime. I do not see results the next day, but not as fast as expected if I stayed a few more days. After about the third day I noticed a small improvement in my skin. After the sixth day of my skin has remained stable but it was not really improving. It was still very swollen and like myself. Then, about 7 to 8 days in the system, I noticed change. But it was a positive change. My acne has really started to deteriorate!

Conclusion on Proactiv Solution

Proactiv did not work. And after something of a struggle, I finally received my money, but I felt there was something in the system that really made my acne. So, yes, I am a former acne sufferer, but not for Proactiv. Need an alternative to Proactiv.

I've been using proactiv for years and now I'm finding that my skin is used to it and it is not as effective as it used to be. I have acne primarily around my chin and it flares up right around that time of the month. I want to go all natural and I'm not sure what's the best way to go.

I've tried washing with glycerin soap. Hasn't done much. I've also tried using baking soda and it will work for a while and then I'll break out again.

Any suggestions for natural home acne remedies is much appreciated?

like i’m curious- i’ve dealt with pretty bad acne and minor vitiligo for 9 years- i don’t have bad vitiligo, but i do break out constantly on my face, neck, chest, and back- i’ve tried everything imaginable proactiv, differin gel, antibiotics- i’ve had numerous dermatologists for my acne, and yet alone for my vitiligo- my vitiligo hasn’t spread- its on my face though- the marks look like birthmarks- and i have acne- i figure the acne is something i have to grow out of because my mom had it really bad, and now she barely has it- only a little now because of her menopause- i am 22 btw-
my acne does get better as i age-
btw- the vitiligo it runs on my mom and dad’s side of the family- my aunt has it, and my great grandma had it- we both got it from how our skin suffered from trauma-
so i am wondering- why spiritual people think we are suffering for having it- when in actuality- it has made me a stronger, wiser, more spiritual person- it lead me on the right path- and helped me realize who my real friends were, and who my real friends aren’t…what family loves me for me, and what family doesn’t…i did suffer with dealing with my skin issues for a while, i cried a lot, suffered from years of not having friends, i used to cut myself, pull out my hair, and i tried to kill myself a few times, but i have overcome this heartache of having it, and i kind of just deal…
a lot of spiritual people believe this- it is not me…and if a lot of spiritual people did not believe this i wouldn't ask this question- duh…
look i prayed and prayed about it- and it hasn't gone away- this is no generational curse- i should not have to suffer for some person's sins…it was meant to be like this- and i have to deal…plan and simple…and i don't feel cursed what so ever…
i don't think the people who believe they are curses are crazy- i just don't think i personally was cursed- i think things happen for a reason, and i haven't done anything to be cursed…

I am worried I will my son will put his mouth on my face or put his hands on my face and then in his mouth after I have used the Proactiv or something and it will make him sick! What is safe and is there anything natural that really works for acne?
