I have survived almost 22 years of a terminal condition... did I ever feel "cursed"? No I did not... that which does not kill only serves to strengthen. (and religious "logic" that claims I or anyone else is cursed is the number one reason I do not follow mainstream religion. they are so behind the times with that line of thinking).
